Samantha Ryan

What is your role at ROHS, and what does it involve?

I am the senior administrator here at ROHS. Working as part of a small admin team means we have multiple job roles, with mine including managing all aspects of the First Aid Courses that we run, day-to-day accounts and scheduling Occupational Health Screening Programmes for clients.

What do you enjoy most about working at ROHS?

I enjoy working with a great team of colleagues. I love how every day is different, which keeps things interesting, and I always find I’m learning something new.

What do you enjoy doing outside of work?

I enjoy going on holiday and long weekends away. I love socialising with my friends and family, especially with a nice glass of wine or G&T. I love going to the gym and enjoy regular walks with my group of friends. I like my TV, and my biggest passion is reading, with over 600 books in my library.

Tell us one fun or interesting fact about yourself.

I am related on my maternal line to the famous scientist Michael Faraday, who contributed to the study of electromagnetism and electrochemistry and used to be on the back of the old £20 note.
